This was our first time using QPC having been let down by our local kennels arranging boarding for our large breed Doberman, Tyson.

I can honestly say it was like a blessing in disguise. We came across QPC through chance after many disappointing calls from other boarders who refused to take a large breed dog and at such short notice too.

Brett contacted me and gave me all of the information needed over the phone. I had a huge list of questions because I was nervous entrusting my dog to someone without having met them however, Brett was happy to answer all of the questions.

Brett came to collect Tyson along with all his food, bowls, bed and anything to make his stay comfortable. Tyson stayed with a retired man who had experience with large breed dogs and whilst boarding there, we received photos and confirmation that Tyson settled well in the home.

When Tyson returned home, he was ecstatic and appeared to be the same weight as he was when he left - a sign of a happy dog! No scratches on the nose (that you'd usually get when boarding kennels) too.

My dog bolt is always so happy after his holidays with pet care

We've been using Brett for our initially 2 large breed rescue dogs and now 3 (all 42kgs or there abouts) since 2017 and cannot fault the service.

I have never been able to put my boys in kennels (partly as they have never been crated as no need and the thought of then in a kennel fills me with dread) and so finding this kind of service was a god send to me, somewhere that my boys feel like they are having a holiday and cared for, not locked in a horrible cage.

Whilst I struggled in the beginning not having met the carer myself and only a picture and details from a book, I understood the reasons why and once we left for our holiday we were kept updated and any questions I had or updates outside the norm were responded to. This has happened every trip we have made and there has never been a concern or stressful moment (other than me saying goodbye when they are collected!).

All 3 of my boys are well behaved but after a larger dog attacked one recently, he has been a little anxious and by me being fully honest and open about this with our last stay and what to do to help him stay calm no issues occurred and the boys come home happy and probably a little exhausted from their own holiday!

As said, I can't fault the service and would highly recommend Brett and Quality Pet Care to any good and loving dog owner!

I have used Quality Pet Care on two occasions now and both times my Doberman has come back so happy and his usual playful self. I was quite nervous about his first stay as he can be quite timid with new people but Brett assured me he settled in really quickly, and I got photo updates to put my mind at ease while I was away. Will continue to use Quality Pet Care for all our holidays away, would recommend them to anyone, and a much nicer alternative to kennels.

Can't recommend them enough from the moment I meet Brett to when Bruno (my British Bull Dog) returned after four weeks. So professional in every way. We was in contact and had some photos sent to us. Great service.
